batterytariffs

Trust & disclosures

Straight about how we make money.

batterytariffs.co.uk recommends a battery and a tariff, then monitors the market and tells you if a better tariff appears. We never hold your money, your energy contract or your battery stock.

Affiliate & introducer disclosure

We earn a commission from Amazon when you buy a battery through our links, and an introducer fee from the energy supplier when you switch tariff, including on repeat switches. You buy the battery from Amazon and you contract with the supplier directly — we are not a party to either transaction.

These fees never change the price you pay. Where a battery or tariff isn't a fit for your situation, we say so, and our recommendations are not steered by which supplier or product pays us more.

Privacy notice

We collect only what we need to run the account and monitoring service you sign up for: your name, email, postcode and smart meter status, and the battery and tariff you reserve. We never ask for bank details, payment cards or existing supplier account numbers.

We hold your details on the basis that they are necessary to provide that service. Marketing email is separate and opt-in only — you tick that box yourself and can withdraw at any time in your account settings. You can ask us to correct or delete your details at any time.

How our figures work

Every saving, payback and ten-year figure on this site is an estimate based on typical household use, not your actual bill, because we don't collect your consumption data before you register. Treat any figure as a guide, not a promise.
